The Mississippi Trapshooting Association supports and promotes registered trapshooting throughout Mississippi. Our state’s organized trapshooting tradition dates to 1914, when the first Mississippi State Shoot was held. Today, Mississippi shooters continue that tradition through local clubs, registered competitions, and the annual State Shoot.

The association represents Mississippi within the Amateur Trapshooting Association, the national governing body for registered trapshooting. We connect shooters with ATA-affiliated clubs and official shoot information while recognizing Mississippi trapshooters through the State Team, Hall of Fame, and Hall of Honor.
